How far ahead should I book?

We take bookings from 7 days to 365 days ahead. For Kashmir in summer, Rajasthan in winter and anywhere over a long weekend, earlier is genuinely cheaper — not a sales line, just how hotel rates move.

How much do I pay to confirm?

Accepted Answer

25% of the trip cost. That is what books the hotels and transport. The balance is due 14 days before you travel.

Question 3

What if I have to cancel?

Accepted Answer

Cancel 30+ days before departure and you get 100% back. At 15 days it is 50%, at 7 days it is 25%. Inside that, suppliers have already been paid and we cannot recover it. The same ladder is printed on your quote.

Can I change the itinerary after booking?

Usually yes, and there is no charge from us for re-planning. What we cannot always undo is a hotel already confirmed on a non-refundable rate — we will tell you which those are before you pay.

What is the smallest group you will run?

2 travellers. Our published packages are costed for up to 12; beyond that we quote separately so the per-person price is honest rather than averaged.

Do you handle vegetarian, Jain or allergy requirements?

Yes, and we ask at booking rather than hoping you mention it. It goes to the hotels, the houseboat kitchen and the driver, not just onto our file.

Are flights included?

Only when the package says so. Most domestic packages are land-only, because people usually have points, preferred airlines or different departure cities. Ask and we will quote them in.

What is not included?

Accepted Answer

Every quote carries an exclusions list — typically airfare unless stated, personal expenses, camera fees at monuments, and anything you add on the road. If it is not written down, assume it is not included and ask us.

Who do I talk to while I am travelling?

The same person who planned the trip, on the same WhatsApp thread. Not a rota and not a call centre.

Do you do international trips?

A short list of them, Bali among the strongest. We would rather do five destinations properly than list fifty we have never visited.
